INDUCTION OF NATIONAL OFFICERS

The induction of national officers was held on May 18, 2013 at the Sulo Riviera Hotel, Matalino Road, Quezon City. The following officers were inducted into office by Mr. Kiyoshi Takeuchi, Director of JICC:
PHILAJAMES NATIONAL OFFICERS
President: Grace P. Sapuay
1st Vice-Pres (internal affairs) : Phoebe Beltran
2nd Vice-President (external affairs): Dr. Hussein S. Lidasan
Treasurer: Dr. Georgina B. Palmario
Directors:
1. Dr. Danny Tuazon
2. Engr. Cesar Pineda
3. Dr. Maribel Sese
The following officers were not around during the induction:
Dr. Maria Lourdes Munarriz (Secretary) and Dr. Amelia Fajardo (ex-officio director)
After the oath-taking ceremony, Mr. Kiyoshi Takeuchi gave an inspirational message to the Philajames members. Tokens of appreciation were awarded to Mr. Kiyoshi Takeuchi and to Mr. Shinichiro Kato. The plaque of appreciation for Dr. Amelia Fajardo was read by Dr. Gina Palmario, who acted as the MC and received by Ms. Romina Beltran on behalf of Dr. Fajardo who was ill and was not able to attend the oath-taking. More than thirty (30) members were present during the ceremony, a majority of whom were members of the Southern Luzon Chapter.
