An Evening of Filipino and Japanese Cultural Songs and Dances

De La Salle University in cooperation with PHILAJAMES and the Japan Information and Cultural Center (JICC) organized a cultural presentation to culminate the 11th Science and Technology Congress.  The said congress serves as an umbrella organization that consolidates the various scientific conferences and symposia in the fields of education, engineering, computer studies and natural sciences within DLSU campus. Among the highlights of this congress are the 13th Osaka University (OU)-De La Salle University (DLSU) Academic Research Workshop and 2nd CMD Workshop. A delegation from Osaka University composed of 15 professors and students came to participate in these workshops.

The evening started with a buffet dinner followed by a cultural presentation that showcased Filipino dances and songs performed by the DLSU chorale and La Salle Dance Company Folk. The Manila Glee Club, a chorale composed up of Filipino and Japanese expats residing in the Philippines, entertained the audience with Japanese and Filipino songs.
